The Stirling Soap Co was founded by Rod and Amanda Lovan in January, 2012. Their full story, as it appears on the Stirling web site, is here. They have built the company from scratch into one of the most popular and highly regarded artisan soap and shaving supply companies in the world.

The dedication of Rod & Amanda to produce products of the highest quality, at an affordable price and in an environmentally conscious way has been key to their ongoing success. Stirling’s products are available throughout North America, Europe, Asia and now Australia & New Zealand.

Keep in mind that the value comparison needs to be like-with-like so comparing the size of a tub of cream with a soap is misleading as there are fewer shaves in a tub of cream than in a tub of soap because of the higher water content of shaving cream.
