Description

Pearl Shaving Co (Madhav Metal Industries) was founded in India in 1990. It produces a comprehensive range of shaving hardware and is an ISO 9001 certified company. The Pearl Blaze is a solid brass razor with a satin finish. Solid brass makes for great longevity so this razor should last for decades, certainly much longer than razors at a similar price made of zamak.

We extensively tested the Blaze razor and we can say it is an excellent double edge razor, giving surprisingly smooth and efficient results with a wide variety of blades. There are also nice touches to this product such as the included washers to protect the head. Note that there is no blade overhang.

As with all Pearl solid brass razors, it is vital to let the blade and the weight of the razor do the work, so applying additional pressure is neither necessary nor desirable.
